The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, has established the "MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC)" to systematically promote a culture of innovation across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary objective of MIC is to encourage, inspire, and nurture young students to explore new ideas and develop them into prototypes during their formative academic years. To achieve this, MIC has initiated the formation of "Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs)" in selected HEIs. These IICs will form a nationwide network aimed at fostering innovation through various activities and initiatives, thereby creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem within campuses. Our college joined the IIC framework in the academic year 2023–24, with a commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. The faculty and students of our Institute are actively participating in various programs initiated by MIC and IIC, in addition to independently organizing related events and initiatives on campus.
